Which devices and browsers are compatible with Emersya's AR?
Emersya’s AR viewer works on any smartphone or tablet with an integrated camera and running an up-to-date browser. There is no need to download any app.
For accurate scale placement (showing the product at its real dimensions in your space), the device needs to support depth-sensing AR capabilities, which is the case for most modern iOS and Android devices. Older devices that do not support depth-sensing can still access the standard AR view, though scale accuracy may vary.
If a customer’s device does not support AR at all, Emersya provides a fallback so the 3D viewer experience remains fully accessible.
Does Emersya offer AR as part of the base subscription?
Yes, AR is available to all Emersya customers. They can choose to activate any of the 3 available AR experiences, (the standard AR view, Emersya’s Interactive Web AR or Emersya’s Virtual Try-On in AR feature), on any 3D product experience on the platform, at no additional cost beyond the annual subscription plan. The one exception is the AR for configurators feature, which is available as a supplementary option.
